Joel and I have been involved in Friendship Circle for fourteen years.
On Sunday, October 25th from 2-4pm, we will be participating in the Virtual Walk4FriendshipLA for the benefit of Jewish children special needs. Friendship Circle is a small nonprofit that does big things. It provides special needs children with recreational activities, education opportunities, and friendship! Over 500 trained student volunteer from dozens of high school engage in a variety of activities with these special children.
This year, COVID-19 has adversely affected the lives of families Friendship Circle of Los Angeles (FCLA) serves . On top of juggling their parental responsibilities, jobs, home, and so much more, they have had to manage their child's special needs, therapies, loneliness, and so on.
FCLA did not miss a beat and immediately took action! It has been altering the delivery of its services but is still providing the quality Jewish educational and social outlets for these children that their families depend on.
FCLA continues to modify and enhance its online, drive-thru, and in-person programs.
Please join me in supporting the great work of Friendship Circle. Invest in inclusion by clicking this link www.walk4friendshipla.com/Deborah and supporting our page with a tax deductible contribution.
FCLA has a full schedule of opportunities for these children to grow, stay engaged, feel loved, and of course, befriended. Please help FCLA to continue to be a guiding force during turbulent times and beyond.
Thank you for your support!
